The beauty of a hand painted kitchen, is that it can be restored, repainted and updated again and again.

New Kitchens

Once your new kitchen is fully fitted and the worktops are in, I will caulk all seams and fill any imperfections so you get a completely seamless kitchen. I will sand and prep all surfaces before hand, then paint two top coats of your colour choice. You are welcome to pick any colour from any branded colour chart and I will have it color matched in a suitable and hard wearing kitchen paint. This will be top quality furniture paint and is used widely by companies such as Harvey Jones and Smallbone. The units may need to be primed before the top coat is applied depending on how they come. All hardware is then replaced and your kitchen is ready to enjoy. Depending on the size of your kitchen, this process usually takes 1-2 weeks.

Kitchen Restoration & Repaints

  • Before

If your bespoke kitchen has seen a lot of wear and tear and/or water damage like this one, or you are tired of the colour scheme, then you may want to consider a kitchen repaint.

  • During

I will remove any loose paint, sand flat, then coat any exposed or blown MDF with a shellac based adhesion primer to stop any further paint separation. This often needs to be done many times.

  • After

A further adhesion primer is applied, followed by two top coats of the chosen colour. New door handles are also a great way to give your kitchen a whole new look.

Accidents can happen, but luckily hand painted kitchens are quick and easy to touch up.
